CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

  • Main sites involved:
    Elbow
    Knee and
    Neck
  • Lesions: Thickening and lichenification with ill-defined borders
  • Dry and cracked skin is likely
  • Slight bleeding or exudation after scratching
  • Itching is severe, especially at night
  • Skin is dry and rough with some scaling and localized itching

NOTES

  • Mix the first four ingredients together in powdered form. Add enough calcium hydroxide to melt the herbs and make into a paste. Then add the glycerine's. Dilute with up to 200 ml water and apply topically.
